Abstract
Stomal prolapse occurs commonly in patient with long standing transverse loop colostomy. In temporary colostomy, the prolapse is managed conservatively waiting for closure. However, if the stoma was made for permanent use, the correction of the extreme prolapse is required. A laparotomy has been traditionally required with associated potential morbidity. Here we describe a simple non-invasive technique allowing local correction of the prolapsed stoma.
